Welcome to Sandlapper Elementary School.  As principal, I am excited to bring my passion for education and my commitment to student success to this wonderful community. 

Throughout my career as an educator and administrator, I have a strong track record of improving academic outcomes and creating a positive and inclusive school culture. I believe that every child has the potential to thrive and I am dedicated to providing the support and resources they need to reach their full potential. 

I look forward to working with students, families, and staff to create a bright future for all.

It has been a pleasure to join this prestigious team! I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal for our preschool through second grade students. My passion for education, student success, and academic achievement drives my excitement about leading such a wonderful school community.

I bring many years of experience in education, having served as a mentor teacher, instructional coach, model teacher, lead teacher, and Teacher of the Year. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Elementary Language and Literacy, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration, and I am completing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.

I believe strongly in collaboration, open communication, and always putting students first. I look forward to partnering with parents, teachers, and community members as we work together to create an exceptional experience for every student by giving our best each day. As part of our Rockstar family, we will all shine!

It is with extreme pleasure that I get to serve as the Assistant Principal at Sandlapper.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Counselor Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.  I have served as a substitute teacher, elementary teacher, school counselor, college professor, student intern supervisor, and school administrator.  I am a strong believer in working together as a cohesive and collaborative team and live by the motto:  When We Work Together, We Win Together!  I look forward to serving all stakeholders of Sandlapper Elementary School.
